Preparation work before installation

Debugging phase

Debugging is a key step to ensure the normal operation of the slurry pump:

1. Manual testing: Before officially using the slurry pump, the equipment needs to be tested.

2. Start trial operation: After the testing work is completed, conduct a trial operation to test whether the pump can work normally in a short period of time.

Precautions for installation of inlet pipeline: There should be no air leakage at the pump inlet, no air storage in the inlet pipe, and the connection between the inlet pipe and the slurry pump inlet must be horizontal. The diameter of the slurry pump inlet pipe and the bottom valve should not be arbitrarily reduced, and should be the same as the slurry pump inlet diameter.

5. Precautions for installation of outlet pipe: The outlet pipe of the slurry pump should not be installed too high. For pumps with high head (≥ 20m), a check valve must be installed in the outlet pipe to prevent water hammer.
