1. Check and adjust the alignment situation
Misalignment between the pump shaft and motor shaft is a common cause of bracket vibration. Use a dial gauge or laser centering device to check the alignment of the pump shaft and motor shaft, adjust the position of the motor or pump, and ensure that the alignment error of the two shafts is within the allowable range (usually not exceeding 0.05mm).
2. Check and replace the bearings
Bearing wear or damage can cause bracket vibration. Regularly check the wear of bearings, especially for abnormal noise and temperature rise during operation. Replace worn or damaged bearings in a timely manner, and ensure that the bearings are installed correctly and lubricated properly.
3. Check and tighten the bolts
Loose connecting bolts between the bracket, base, and pump body can cause vibration. Regularly check and tighten all connecting bolts, especially the bolts between the bracket, base, and pump body. Use a torque wrench to ensure even tightening of bolts.
4. Check the balance of the impeller
Unbalanced impellers can cause vibration of the pump shaft and bracket. Disassemble the impeller and perform dynamic balancing correction to ensure the balance of the impeller. Check if the impeller is worn or damaged, and replace it if necessary.
5. Check the clearance between the pump casing and impeller
Uneven clearance between the pump casing and impeller can cause vibration. Check the gap between the pump casing and impeller to ensure that the gap is uniform and meets the design requirements. Adjust or replace the pump casing and impeller to ensure proper clearance.
6. Check and adjust the coupling
Damaged or improperly installed couplings can cause vibration. Check the wear of the coupling and replace damaged couplings in a timely manner. Ensure that the coupling is installed correctly and the alignment error is within the allowable range.
7. Check the foundation and bracket
Unstable foundation or deformation of the support can cause vibration of the bracket. Check if the foundation is firm and reinforce it if necessary. Check if the bracket is deformed and replace it if necessary.
8. Check and adjust operating parameters
Inappropriate operating parameters, such as flow rate and pressure, can lead to vibration. Check the operating parameters of the pump to ensure they are within the design range. Adjust operating parameters to avoid the pump operating under non design conditions.
9. Regular maintenance and upkeep
Lack of regular maintenance can lead to the accumulation of vibration problems. Develop and implement regular maintenance plans, including lubrication, inspection, and replacement of vulnerable parts.
10. Noise treatment
If vibration is accompanied by abnormal noise, anti vibration pads can be installed to reduce the noise. Install noise reducers or sound absorbers. Check whether the impeller, bearings and other components are worn, and maintain, repair or replace them in a timely manner.
Through the above measures, the problem of excessive vibration in slurry pumps can be effectively diagnosed and solved, ensuring the stable operation of the equipment.
