Special measurement and calculation methods

For rubber lined pumps, it is necessary to adjust the nut on the bolt to move the bearing assembly forward first, so that the impeller contacts the front sheath, and then move the bearing assembly backward, so that the impeller contacts the rear sheath, and measure the total movement distance of the bearing assembly. Then take half of this distance as the clearance between the impeller and the front and rear sheaths, which is different from the clearance determination method of other types of pumps.

Special adjustment process

When adjusting, the movement of the bearing assembly is operated by tightening the nut on the adjusting bolt, first making the impeller contact with the front sheath, and then making it contact with the rear sheath, in order to determine the relevant clearance and adjust it, rather than using specific half turn nut adjustment and other operations like metal lined pumps to determine the clearance between the impeller and the front guard plate.
