The acceptance of the slurry pump after installation and commissioning must ensure that the equipment installation meets the specifications, the operating parameters meet the standards, there are no leaks or abnormal vibrations, and it has passed the assessment of no-load and load trial operation.
As a key equipment for transporting slurry containing solid particles in the industrial field, the installation and commissioning quality of slurry pumps directly affects their operational stability and service life. Acceptance is the final checkpoint to confirm whether the equipment can be officially put into operation, covering multiple aspects such as mechanical installation, electrical control, sealing system, and overall performance.
Acceptance content and standards
1、 Installation quality inspection
The following are the physical and assembly standards that must be verified after installation is completed:
Combination surface gap: failed to pass inspection with a 0.05mm feeler gauge; Local gap ≤ 0.10mm, depth not exceeding 1/3 of the width of the composite surface, total length ≤ 20% of the circumference.
Installation surface height difference: shall not exceed 0.10mm.
The levelness of the pump body should meet the requirements of the equipment technical documents; If there are no regulations, refer to the General Specification for Construction and Acceptance of Mechanical Equipment Installation Engineering.
Anchor bolts and foundation: firmly fixed, foundation size, elevation, and reserved hole position meet design requirements.
Pipeline connection: The inlet and outlet pipelines are concentric, stress free connection, reliable support, and avoid weight transmission to the pump body.
2、 Static check before operation
Lubrication system: The bearing grease is filled in place, and the grease is clean and free of impurities.
Shaft sealing device: The tightness of the packing is moderate or the mechanical seal is intact, and the cooling water (if necessary) is unobstructed.
Electrical system: The motor wiring is correct, the insulation is qualified, and the direction of rotation matches the pump.
Turning inspection: Manual turning is flexible, without any jamming or friction noise.
3、 Trial run performance testing
During the debugging phase, the following dynamic tests need to be completed and data recorded:
No load test run: runs smoothly without any abnormal noise or vibration, and lasts for no less than 30 minutes.
Load test run: Run continuously for at least 4 hours under rated conditions, monitoring whether the flow rate, head, and current reach the design values.
Sealing performance: There is no obvious leakage, the packing seal allows for slight dripping (generally ≤ 30 drops/minute), and the mechanical seal has no leakage.
Temperature rise control: The bearing temperature generally does not exceed 65 ° C, with a maximum of 75 ° C.
Vibration and noise: The vibration amplitude meets industry standards (usually ≤ 4.5 mm/s), and the noise is below 85dB (A).
Conclusion
The acceptance of slurry pumps should form a complete record, including:
Installation checklist;
Record of trial operation data (flow rate, pressure, current, temperature, etc.);
Defect handling report;
The final acceptance report shall be jointly signed by the user unit, equipment management department, and supervision party.
Only after all indicators have been met and problems have been closed, can we enter the formal operation phase.
