Quick impeller wear: The higher the pump speed, the higher the relative velocity between the impeller of the slurry pump and the slurry and mineral particles, which will accelerate the wear rate of the impeller. For example, in harsh environments such as mines, high speeds can cause the impeller to be eroded faster, shorten the replacement cycle of the impeller, and increase maintenance costs.
Severe wear of the pump body: High speed accelerates the flow rate of the slurry inside the pump. Under the same slurry flow rate, the faster the flow rate, the more severe the impact and wear of the slurry on the lining inside the pump body, which in turn affects the overall service life of the pump.
There are technical risks present
When the pump speed is too high, it may cause the actual head of the pump to exceed its capacity, leading to a series of problems.
